About the Role

The By-Products Trader is a critical position at JBS USA Holdings, Inc., responsible for the domestic and international trade of animal and vegetable by-products. This role will be based at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Portfolio Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of global vendors and customers to create the supply channels required to increase volume and margin.
  • Market Access Development: Develop international market access in conjunction with JBS' international offices.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Research and analyze globally traded markets for economic impacts to our businesses.
  • Risk Management: Ensure the Company's financial interests are protected with active risk management.
  • Logistics and Finance Collaboration: Collaborate with logistics & finance teams to efficiently execute trades and manage P&L.
  • Industry Representation: Attend industry conferences to represent the Company and advance relationships.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field, or equivalent career experience.
  • Experience: Previous commodity trading experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of shipping and logistics - both domestic and international, effective communication to all levels of a global company, Microsoft Office applications, including: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Benefits

  • 401(k) Plan: company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule.
  • Base Salary: $95,000-$145,000.
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program.
