About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Trader to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a professional with a strong background in sales, trading, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve budgetary and company targets, including profit targets, cash flow return on assets, and working capital requirements.
  • Develop and Implement Trading Strategies: Collaborate with commercial managers to design and execute trading strategies that are realistic and profitable, leveraging existing assets and identifying new opportunities.
  • Manage Key Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal counterparts, customers, and third-party suppliers to ensure the Company's trading activities exceed the expectations of new and existing buyers and suppliers.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure the appropriate protection of the Company's financial interests by conscious and active risk management, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrate leadership skills and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business, Animal Science, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong background in commodity trading, sales, and risk management.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of international shipping and logistics processes, sales and marketing experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary range of $90,000-$120,000, with potential for incentive pay and bonuses.
