Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Central Florida Health Care. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating clinical pharmacy programs and initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of third-party billing and enhance patient medication adherence through auto-fill status, medication synchronization, and communication.
  • Create, send, and audit medication adherence reports to promote accountability to clinical programs.
  • Mentor on-site pharmacy staff to achieve goals of clinical programs and collect, analyze, and report data to assess patient outcomes.
  • Optimize the use of antibiotics to effectively treat infections and combat antibiotic resistance.
  • Assist in the operations of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee and be familiar with CFHC's program philosophies, goals, and objectives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Florida Board of Pharmacy Registration
  • Active Pharmacy Technician Licensure (National)
  • Minimum 3 years work experience as a technician in a pharmacy setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to spend 80% or more time standing/walking and will be independently mobile. They will also be able to lift weight equivalent to that required when repositioning equipment and lifting supplies.
