Job Summary:
Central Florida Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychiatric Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Program, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to determine diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to patients with a range of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in mental health care, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy and residency training in psychiatry.
- Active Florida medical license and DEA registration.
- Board certification in psychiatry or eligibility for certification.
- Three to five years of experience in psychiatric care, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
