Nursing Support Specialist

Northern Light Health is a leading provider of healthcare services in Maine, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the health of our communities. We are currently seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in Lakewood.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Communicating and interacting with patients and families, physicians, peers, and other healthcare members
- Precepting team members and orienting patients to the hospital environment and routine
- Attending unit committees or educational peer opportunities
- Documenting patient care and participating in quality improvement initiatives
We require a high school diploma or equivalent and certification as a nursing assistant. If you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply.
