Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Provides direct and indirect patient care, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, as well as changing linens and transferring or transporting patients.
- Communicates and interacts with patients, families, physicians, peers, and other healthcare members to maximize successful customer outcomes and unit function.
- Orients patients to the hospital environment and routine.
- Participates in unit quality improvement initiatives.
- Documents all aspects of patient care in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position that requires working alternate shift schedules, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. You will also be required to lift, move, and load up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of $43,000 - $53,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
