Job Overview

Holden Farms, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Animal Welfare Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production and veterinary teams, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement animal welfare training programs and guidelines
  • Collaborate with farm supervisors and management teams to promote animal welfare and herd health
  • Lead PQA/TQA training and biosecurity audits
  • Provide animal welfare support and training to sow farm and grow/finish staff

Requirements:

  • Animal science degree with an emphasis in animal welfare
