Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing exceptional pediatric private duty care in the Metairie area.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical services to pediatric patients in their homes, following the plan of care and in coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Document patient visits thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record, adhering to regulatory and payer requirements.
  • Participate in the agency's care coordination process, including timely reporting of patient needs and changes in condition, and effective communication with the patient, family, physician, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient health information and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Previous home care experience preferred.
