Job Description

This full-time Pain Scheduler position involves serving as the primary contact for patient check-ins and check-outs, verifying demographic information, insurance eligibility, referral or authorization status, and completing chart prep. Additionally, the successful candidate will complete patient registration at time of service/scheduling, collect copayments and outstanding balances, communicate follow-up instructions, maintain confidentiality, screen patients for suitability, schedule procedures, and resolve authorization issues.

Requirements
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Knowledge of modern office equipment, medical terminology, human anatomy, ICD-9 and CPT coding, and common health insurance plans
