Engage in the sales of construction machinery components by collaborating with clients and dealership parts departments to facilitate the maintenance of their equipment.
OVERVIEW
The aftermarket parts sales consultant will manage parts sales orders from the moment they are received until they are dispatched, assisting dealers and customers in identifying the appropriate components. This role includes following up on back orders with procurement and keeping customers informed. The consultant will also aid in processing returns and addressing discrepancies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate sales orders, pick-up tickets, and invoices through the designated system.
- Communicate with dealers via phone and email to help locate the correct parts.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Collaborate closely with customer stakeholders in parts and service.
- Work in conjunction with internal teams in areas such as dealer support, service operations, service training, remanufacturing center, parts planning, and parts sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
ATTRIBUTES
A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify root causes of issues.
Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
Proactive and innovative in problem-solving.
