Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Queen Creek, AZ. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing students' communication skills within a supportive school environment.

About the Role:

  • Position: Full-time Speech Language Pathologist
  • Location: Queen Creek, AZ
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy sessions: Focus on delivering therapy sessions without the burden of evaluations.
  • Manage caseload: Work with approximately 50-60 students, ensuring individualized attention and support.
  • Collaborate: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide holistic support.
  • Monitor progress: Document and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.
  • Engage: Provide effective one-on-one or small group therapy sessions.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Arizona.
  • Experience: Experience in school settings preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with an ability to engage with diverse student populations.
