Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Queen Creek Unified School District.

Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing students with speech or language disorders and developing individualized therapy plans to improve their communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess students with speech or language disorders and determine eligibility for services.
  • Develop annual Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and complete 3-year re-evaluations.
  • Plan and provide individual and group therapy to students consistent with speech/language goals contained in IEPs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and implement classroom-based activities to improve oral and written language skills of students.
  • Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy services.
  • Assist in the selection of materials, equipment, and supplies for diagnostics and therapy.
  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure effective implementation of therapy plans.
  • Complete all required paperwork and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Completed program in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders.
  • Bachelor's degree - Master's degree preferred.
  • Current state license to practice speech therapy in the state of Arizona.
  • Working knowledge of IEP development.
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
