Polysomnographic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic sleep studies, preparing patients and equipment for testing, and interpreting results to identify sleep disorders.
Responsibilities- Conduct basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies to identify sleep disorders
- Prepare patients and equipment for testing, ensuring accurate and reliable results
- Interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues and explain testing procedures
- Monitor patients throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues
- Analyze and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs
- Score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies
- Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
- One or more of the following certifications: Cert Polysomnographic Tech, Reg Polysomnographic Tchnlgst, or Reg Polysomnographic Tchnlgst
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
