Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Neurophysiology Tech I to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of neurodiagnostic procedures to evoke, record, and study electrical physiological brain or nerve activities for use in diagnosing neurological disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Perform neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies
  • Record and analyze data to diagnose neurological disorders
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Work flexible hours to meet patient and departmental needs
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to push or pull equipment up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to lift equipment/supplies up to 10 lbs
  • Ability to lift and move neonatal through adult patient populations
  • Ability to assemble complex equipment and perform fine motor skills
Requirements
  • Completion of an electroneurodiagnostic (END) program required
  • Associate's degree in Neuroscienses or related field required and one year of EEG experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Neurosciences or related field required and one year of EEG experience preferred
  • In lieu of the above, four years of EEG experience or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification is acceptable
