Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Cook Group. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes for medical device products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers and vendors to develop efficient manufacturing methods and machines.
  • Work with Product Development Engineers to design and implement processes for new products.
  • Partner with Operations, Accounting, and Global Product Managers to improve profit margins of current products.
  • Train personnel on new processes and document cost savings.
  • Develop and execute validation protocols, ensuring compliance with design controls.
  • Support the calibration department in writing and performing calibration procedures.
  • Verify and validate critical processes and products with Quality Assurance and Product Development.
  • Work with vendors to source discontinued or changed materials.
  • Establish project timelines, justifications, and budget forecasts with management.
  • Provide expertise to operational departments on materials, equipment, and process upgrades.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a general office environment with occasional travel to manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will be able to sit for extended periods, utilize close visual acuity for working with computers and equipment, and frequently stand, walk, and communicate.
