Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems US Inc. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for developing and improving production equipment, processes, and methods to drive efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze company processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance productivity.
- Monitor staff performance and organizational processes to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Study time, methods, and speed involved in production to establish standard workflow rates and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate the purchase of special equipment, materials, or parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Create product specifications and detailed assembly instructions to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Aid and report on work assignments, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays to ensure smooth operations.
- Recommend technology or computer aids, product design changes, and workspace layout modifications to existing production standards to achieve optimum quality and efficiency.
- Develop a successful workflow, adapt to changing conditions, and develop new equipment, procedures, and policies to increase efficiency in all operations.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to enhance productivity and staff satisfaction.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience in a similar engineering position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Problem resolution skills, understanding of competitive market, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to read and understand machining & assembly drawings.
- Technical understanding with a hands-on approach.
- Strategic analytical thinking to introduce new innovations to production processes.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to objectively review, understand, and organize data.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Process Improvement and Development using quality tools (5-why's, corrective action, 8-D, etc.).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is primarily moderate to loud.
