Job Summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a skilled Cardiology Technician to join our team. As a Cardiology Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform EKGs in out-patient and in-patient settings
  • Conduct Exercise Stress Tests
  • Apply Zio Patch, loop, and event monitors
  • Observe patients and monitor tracings for cardiac arrhythmias
  • Explain procedures to patients and obtain written consent
  • Take brief medical histories and alert physicians of significant changes
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic calculations
  • Basic knowledge of physical sciences at a high school level
  • Three to nine months of on-the-job training
  • EKG interpretation and medical terminology helpful
  • Knowledge of CPR and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

Work in a normal patient care environment with regular walking, standing, and lifting of patients. Exposure to patients with Radium Implants and Infectious Diseases.
