Bistro Food Service Specialist

Position Overview


The Bistro at Lodging Dynamics presents a stylish, fast-casual dining venue featuring a diverse menu that includes a range of refreshing take-out options alongside complete sit-down meals, including premium coffee selections.

As a member of our Bistro Team, you will master various food and beverage responsibilities, from serving beverages to preparing ingredients for cooking, which includes tasks such as portioning, chopping, and proper food storage.

This role involves processing all customer orders and handling payment transactions, as well as providing support in food and beverage areas, which includes clearing tables, cleaning, resetting dining areas, and delivering meals to guests.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the general cleanliness and upkeep of food and beverage preparation areas, conducting end-of-shift cash counts, and adhering to property control audit standards and cash handling protocols.


It is essential to follow all company policies regarding safety and security; report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management; and complete necessary safety training and certifications.

You will ensure that your uniform and personal appearance are tidy and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation to guests.

Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, and collaborate to achieve shared objectives. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.

Be prepared to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and objects over 50 pounds with assistance.

You should be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including potential split shifts and availability on weekends and holidays.
