Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bistro Operations Manager to join our team at Lodging Dynamics. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bistro, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and direction to kitchen associates to maximize productivity and efficiency, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Production and Quality Control: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Manage food and supply inventory, ordering and receiving goods as needed to maintain optimal levels.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop kitchen associates, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or related field required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching. The work schedule may vary and may include working on holidays and weekends.
