Job Title: Security Engineer IT - Information Technology

Overview:

Come work with us at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, where you'll be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive data. You'll document and report security threats, implement and monitor security measures to protect computer systems, networks, applications, and information. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks required by regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, applications, and information.
  • Assist in the development of organizational policies, procedures, and best practices supporting information security and compliance initiatives.
  • Monitor, review, and analyze log and alert data from company systems, network, and security devices for potential security and compliance events.
  • Identify and define system security requirements.
  • Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs.
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
  • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
  • Ensure timely reporting of security incidents.
  • Write comprehensive reports, including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
  • Work with and provide reports for compliance audits.
  • Other assignments as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: CISM, GSEC, CCNA, CEH, OSCP, CISSP, Nevada Gaming Registration, Colorado Gaming License.
  • At least three (3) years of education, training, and/or experience in IT security monitoring and analysis, vulnerability analysis, risk analysis, or similar cybersecurity-related fields.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing IT projects in a medium to large network environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of enterprise networking protocols and concepts, server operating systems (including Windows, Linux, and VMWare), and core security principles.
  • Hands-on experience with common information security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and data leakage protection.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail in both analysis and documentation.
