Job Summary
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a skilled Assistant Nurse Manager to facilitate daily operations, including patient flow, staffing assignments, safe patient care, and to promote a healthy work environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' healthcare experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Preferred qualifications include 1 year of Clinical Nurse 3-5 level or management/administrative experience in a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting environment for delivery of care, acting as a clinical resource for patient population, and maintaining competence to provide and/or assist with clinical care. Additionally, the Assistant Nurse Manager will participate in educational process related to delivery of healthcare, maintain own professional development, and foster professional development of others. The role requires excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to participate actively in and support shared leadership councils. The successful candidate will be a team player who can foster collegial relationships between team members, other departments, and medical staff members. Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' healthcare experience required.
