Job Opportunity:

Village Caregiving - Bowling Green is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-home Caregiver to provide care and support to seniors in their homes in Park City, KY and surrounding areas.

This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical field. As an individual contributor, you will have a direct impact on improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily tasks and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
  • Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance if needed
  • Administer medication as per physician's instructions
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
  • Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the care coordinator
  • Accompany clients on errands and appointments
  • Follow all care plans and document daily activities and services provided

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other team members
  • Willing to undergo a background check and drug screening
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Physical ability to assist clients with standing, walking, and other mobility tasks as needed
