Fleet Maintenance Clerk Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data entry, vendor communication, and fleet software maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage data entry for fleet maintenance, transportation, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Communicate with vendors and fleet mechanics to ensure timely and accurate purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the fleet software.
  • Provide information to corporate fleet personnel as needed.
  • Track transferred units, mileage, fuel, parts, and other relevant data.
  • Maintain transportation billing for internal transportation.
  • Manage database for refrigeration equipment.
  • Provide information and paperwork for shipping and receiving refrigeration equipment.
  • Order and maintain fuel inventories.
  • Schedule Heavy Highway Vehicles and Maintenance, responsible for all tags and registrations.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all stakeholders.
  • Intermediate Excel user.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and units of measure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to lift and move large amounts of paperwork.
  • Must be able to work in various temperatures and environments.
