Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Fleet Coordinator to enhance our team of facility professionals. This team is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, along with addressing unplanned servicing needs for facility systems and manufacturing equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and assessments of fleet equipment, recommending necessary repairs or replacements. Maintain comprehensive records of fleet inventories, assignments, and usage.
  • Serve as a liaison between the enterprise fleet manager and various support vendors, providing direct coordination and assistance to on-site vendors as needed.
  • Facilitate multi-site scheduling for the repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) equipment.
  • Evaluate fleet purchase requests and provide informed recommendations.
  • Act as a liaison with manufacturers for warranty and recall work, addressing technical and safety concerns.
  • Analyze and develop work plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks, minimizing downtime and controlling costs.
  • Continuously improve fleet maintenance practices and procedures to uphold quality control standards.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% for site-specific standardization and training development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant practical experience in fleet and equipment operations is essential.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing work in a critical environment across multiple organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced setting while collaborating with a small team.
  • Familiarity with CMMS work order systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to build trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in fleet asset management.
  • Experience with Maxim software is advantageous.
