Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescriptions in compliance with Federal and State regulations in an accurate, timely, and courteous manner.
  • Provide effective drug information and consultation to professional staff, providers, patients, and members.
  • Assist in the ordering, receiving, storage, and safekeeping of pharmaceuticals and maintain a cost-effective inventory level of pharmaceuticals.
  • Support and cooperate with other departments' operation initiatives.
  • Maintain a professional image and participate in departmental quality improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Current WI licensure.
  • Minimum one year hospital and/or retail pharmacy experience.
