Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate with wholesalers and develop therapeutic options with doctors
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and analyze data trends
- Recommend therapeutic changes and manage inventory
- Handle insurance prior authorizations and reenter insurance coding
Requirements:
- NJ Pharmacist License
- Knowledge of independent pharmacies and revenue generation strategies
- Experience in acquisition and revenue generation
- Basic compounding skills
- Ability to manage acquisition costs and negotiate with wholesalers
- Understanding of NDC changes
- Track and manage inventory
- Handle insurance prior authorizations
Work Environment:
SHIFT:
Mon-Fri 10:30am-6:30pm + 11am-4pm Saturdays. If working a weekend, you will get a weekday off the following week (not Monday).
Example shift:
If you work Mon-Fri this week, you will have Saturday off. Following week, you will have Wednesday off and work that Saturday. You can sit or stand for the shift, up to your preference. No lifting requirements. Typical day involves working with 2-3 staff members, focusing solely on filling medications. Scheduling handled by Maikee, not the hired pharmacist. Techs handle most customer interactions.
