About the Role:

This position is required to be on-site at our laboratory facility.

As a Semi Volatiles Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for supporting our laboratory team by following established methodologies, performing analysis, and interpreting data from samples.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare samples for a variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
  • Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas.
  • Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.
  • Knowledge of analytical methods, instruments, general lab practices, and lab safety.
