Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Research Specialist, Pathology to join our team at Tulane University Staff. The successful candidate will provide excellent and technically demanding clinical and research laboratory skills in a careful and independent manner. This role involves organizing and overseeing day-to-day operations in the laboratory, utilizing knowledge and skills in biological sciences, genetics, and basic chemistry to work efficiently and skillfully.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and research laboratory skills in a careful and independent manner.
  • Organize and oversee day-to-day operations in the laboratory.
  • Utilize knowledge and skills in biological sciences, genetics, and basic chemistry.
  • Work efficiently and skillfully.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cell biology and molecular techniques such as tissue culture, PCR, Western blotting, DNA isolation, RNA isolation, and gel electrophoresis.
  • Ensure strong organization abilities with orientation to details for data integrity and the day-to-day works.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of directly related experience.
