We are seeking a skilled crude oil transport driver in Roosevelt, UT. Our drivers play a crucial role in the secure and efficient transportation of crude oil from extraction sites to pipeline stations. Transport drivers operate independently while adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards, under the guidance of local fleet management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License: Must maintain a satisfactory driving record and consent to a review of driving records.
  • License Restrictions: Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Required Endorsements: Hazardous Materials and Tank Vehicle endorsements are mandatory; Double/Triple Trailers endorsement is preferred.

Shift Requirements

  • Availability to work up to 12-hour shifts.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations, ensuring all necessary equipment is operational.
  • Safely operate a tank truck to transport products, adhering to all applicable laws and company procedures during loading and unloading.
  • Perform post-trip inspections and complete all required documentation.
  • Report any incidents or safety concerns following company protocols.
  • Timely reporting of equipment issues is essential.
  • Strictly follow all safety regulations and operational procedures, including DOT guidelines.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capability to work at heights of 30+ feet.
  • Frequent lifting of 50-65 lbs. is required.
  • Extended periods of sitting and gripping a steering wheel are necessary.

Screening Requirements

  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record and consent to a review.
  • Pass all required drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Complete a DOT physical and maintain a current medical card.
  • Pass a three-year DOT safety background check and a seven-year criminal background check.
  • Successfully complete a pre-trip exam and road test.
