License: Must be a Certified Surgical Technician or meet the state requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law
Certifications:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series
Must-Have:
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to function in multiple roles within the procedure team
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures.
- Set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment.
- Anticipate and procure equipment required during procedures.
- Operate equipment efficiently and maintain sterile instruments.
- Function in different roles such as scrub, circulator, and documenter within the procedure team.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Certified Surgical Technician or meet state requirements
- RCIS certification through CCI or ARRT
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- COVID vaccine card showing full series
