Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

About the Role:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging services. This role supports the Radiologist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring the processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Radiologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Process and transmit images to PACS.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality imaging services.

Qualifications:

  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) required.
  • Proficient computer skills.
