Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, friendly, and helpful service to all customers
  • Manage the daily operations of the meat department, including cutting, wrapping, and displaying meat products
  • Ensure that all meat products are handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with company standards and regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards
  • Operate meat cutting equipment, including knives, saws, cubers, slicers, and grinders
  • Receive and stock meat merchandise, including DSD and warehouse deliveries
  • Control shrink and maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • 6-12 months of related experience in a meat department or similar environment
  • Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results
  • Ability to pass a cutting test
  • Basic computer skills and strong communication skills
