Key Responsibilities
  • **Monitor and Maintain Security Systems**: Ensure the integrity of our access control systems, surveillance equipment, and monitoring systems to prevent unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.

  • **Collaborate with Security Team**: Work closely with the security team to identify areas for improvement and implement new procedures to enhance security and efficiency.
  • **Maintain Accurate Records**: Document observations, incidents, and surveillance activities, collect witness statements, and obtain necessary signatures to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • **High School Diploma / GED**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • **Minimum of 18 years of age**: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • **Prior Customer Service Experience**: At least 3 years of prior customer service experience with a consistent work history demonstrating the ability to handle pressure and proactively manage unexpected situations.
  • **Access Control Experience**: Preferably three or more years in access control, security, military, or law enforcement roles.
  • **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Windows-based applications and experience in data center operations or telecommunications, technical understanding of data center components, and a quick grasp of technical information and procedures.
Additional Information
  • **Knowledge and Understanding**: Knowledge and understanding of basic access control systems operations, laws, regulations, and codes pertinent to access control duties.
  • **Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong problem-solving skills with limited information and ability to interpret various forms of instructions.
  • **Adaptability**: Adaptability to changing circumstances and new procedures, with a strong work ethic, integrity, and self-directed work approach.
  • **Physical Requirements**: Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, push, pull, handle, feel, type, smell, talk, and hear as needed for the job.
