About the Role
AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our movable bridge practice in New Jersey. As a Senior Infrastructure Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution, technical leadership, and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee project execution as a project manager on movable bridge projects, guiding teams through various project phases including construction.
- Technical Leadership: Lead the development of technical project concepts and play a key role in the pursuit phase to secure new projects.
- Business Development: Engage with existing and prospective clients to identify new project opportunities. Participate in the formation of project teams and go/no-go decisions on potential projects.
- Travel: Be prepared to travel as needed to meet project and client needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 2 years of leadership experience.
- Current P.E. license with ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.
- Successful record as project manager with the delivery of on time and on budget movable bridge projects, in all project phases including design and construction.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree with 12 years experience.
- Project experience on commuter rail/freight rail bridges and State DOT bridges.
- Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes.
- Project management skills, including proposal preparation.
- Experience in traditional and alternative delivery.
