Position Summary

Maintco Corp. is in search of a Senior Project Manager to oversee and direct our field construction teams, manage budgets, and fulfill internal office responsibilities while reporting directly to the Construction Manager - Field.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and promptly report any issues.
  • Oversee all stages of construction remodeling and build-out for convenience stores, restaurants, and retail spaces, including carpentry, drywall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finishing work.
  • Plan and coordinate timely delivery of materials to the job site.
  • Manage client relationships in the field to ensure satisfaction.
  • Act as a representative of Maintco Corp. while managing vendors and installations on-site.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and field personnel to establish project specifications.
  • Research and evaluate potential contractors and vendor partners based on project requirements.
  • Train, supervise, and assess new contractors and vendors as needed.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to both in-house and field teams, promoting efficient practices.
  • Ensure all project specifications and Maintco Corp. quality standards are upheld.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  • Adapt and devise solutions to maintain project quality and schedule.
  • Promote a culture of safety, leading by example and ensuring compliance.
  • Coordinate all deliveries to the job site, verifying accuracy and quality.
  • Manage the timing of subcontractor work.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Recruit contractors and staff to delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to project initiatives, processes, and quality control standards.
  • Make timely project decisions to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget.
  • Work collaboratively with the Project Lead to maintain project budgets, schedules, and reporting.
  • Submit all project deliverables punctually and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Evaluate project progress and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Represent Maintco Corp. in interactions with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize experience and effective communication to achieve project goals.
  • Exercise creativity and flexibility in field operations with limited access to communication tools.
  • Delegate tasks to subcontractors and manage extended work hours as necessary.

General Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of Project Management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage 35 projects annually.
  • Experience in hiring at least 100 subcontractors for various projects.
  • Capability to read plans and generate a minimum of 50 bids within a calendar year.
  • Track record of generating additional company revenue through cost-saving recommendations exceeding $250,000 annually.
  • Maintain a mobile compliance rate of 98.5% or higher over a year.
  • Possess at least one project management certification for a minimum of one year.
  • Achieve $250,000 in gross revenue from projects monthly for three consecutive years.
  • Lead a team that consistently completes $2,500,000 in gross revenue from projects monthly over five continuous years.
  • Train a minimum of five superintendents effectively.
