Job Overview

Psomas is seeking a highly skilled Project Surveyor to join our Survey & Geospatial Team in Roseville. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing field and office staff, overseeing project assignments, and ensuring the successful completion of various surveying and mapping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate projects, including design surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic mapping, boundary resolution, and record mapping.
  • Process field data using various workflows and review work by others to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Lead by example and help maintain and manage field survey data systems.
  • Complete technical mapping and final drawings for agency submittals and approval.
  • Research and analyze title reports, ROW/E, ALTA's, topography, and mapping.
  • Perform survey calculations, analysis, and field support.
  • Knowledge of common boundary establishment methods and analysis.
  • Ability to work well with various staff members, work with different disciplines, and other departments.

Requirements:

  • Registered Professional Land Surveyor.
  • 7+ years of experience in all phases of surveying, including public mapping experience, or BS Degree in Geomatics and 4+ years' experience.
  • Knowledge of public agency codes, processes, and requirements.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal mapping requirements.
