Job Responsibilities
  • Follow detailed written guidelines that outline the methods and sequence of assembly tasks utilizing a bill of materials, wiring schematics, and assembly blueprints.
  • Construct and fabricate assemblies employing company-provided hand and power tools.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams regarding assembly specifications, workmanship standards, and customer product requirements.
  • Engage with clients to understand new product builds and disseminate knowledge to fellow assemblers.
  • Assemble electrical panels and enclosures, troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Conduct final assembly, functionality assessments, high potential testing, and final calibration.
  • Prepare point-to-point wiring in accordance with wire run-lists and diagrams within large electrical panels.
  • Integrate sub-assemblies, electrical panels, chassis, power supplies, and connecting cables.
  • Inspect and calibrate final products as required.
  • Assemble products according to specified assembly processes.
  • Utilize tools such as calipers and micrometers in various processes.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in assembling, disassembling, and repairing components.
  • Lead and oversee teams of 2-8 individuals in their work.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED with relevant experience; technical school education preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, focus, and commitment to the highest quality standards.
  • Experience in effectively collaborating with customers.
  • Proficient in PC hardware and software installation and configuration.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Capable of analyzing issues and proposing solutions.
  • Experience in clean room environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with complex panels, multiple components, and extensive wire run lists.
  • Understanding of the overall operations of surrounding areas.
  • Exemplifies leadership qualities without necessarily holding a managerial position.
  • Experience with large-scale capital equipment is a plus.
