Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Activity Therapist to join our team at Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health. As an Activity Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic activity services to adult and adolescent patients under the hospital's care for emotional or substance abuse problems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinically appropriate recreational therapy to patients
  • Document group activities and maintain accurate records
  • Promote a safe and therapeutic environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy)
  • One year of inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
  • BLS and CPI certification required
