Registry/Per Diem roles do not guarantee hours and do not include a medical benefits package. A post-offer Occupational Health physical assessment, drug screening, and background check (covering employment, criminal history, and education) are required.

Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital setting with MRI.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct MRI procedures following and confirming orders from referring providers, utilizing independent judgment and established methodologies.
  2. Provide education to patients and families regarding the procedures and treatments, demonstrating professionalism and fostering teamwork for optimal patient outcomes.
  3. Generate high-quality images and prepare them along with relevant patient information for prompt interpretation, ensuring accurate documentation.
  4. Exhibit proficiency in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures as necessary, adhering to established policies.
  5. Conduct equipment quality control checks, troubleshoot issues, and notify appropriate personnel to maintain equipment functionality while ensuring a safe environment for all.
  6. Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards in radiology practice, including maintaining confidentiality of all work-related information.
  7. Ensure efficient workflow within the department and manage inventory of supplies to prevent service interruptions.
Minimum Qualifications: National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or relevant licensure (NMTCB, ARDMS, ARMRIT) is required. State licensure as applicable. Advanced certification in MRI must be obtained within 18 months of hire. BLS certification is also required.
