Job Title: Community Representative

Shea Homes Active Lifestyle Communities is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our homes, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent Shea Homes in the sales and marketing of our homes, including competitive market analysis, promotion, and sales activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to homebuyers and internal customers, ensuring a smooth and timely closing process.
  • Work closely with the lender and customer to ensure a smooth escrow process.
  • Respond to customer concerns during the construction process and work with construction, customer service, and the design center to correct any problems and facilitate a timely closing process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trades, internal and external customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize responsibilities to consistently meet deadlines and achieve sales goals.
  • Comply with DRE and other state regulations for real estate sales, reviewing sales documents and community disclosures for accuracy and providing compliance feedback to the division.
  • Establish and achieve sales goals consistent with company goals, self-prospecting and developing a follow-up program to turn prospects into buyers.
  • Provide continual evaluation of company policies, processes, and procedures, suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college/business or professional training preferred.
  • Computer literate in MS Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • 2-4 years of experience in completing new home sales transactions.
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to balance multiple priorities and assignments.
  • Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with trades, internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize responsibilities to consistently meet deadlines.
