Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer - Bridge Design

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bridge design, with a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural systems for bridges and other infrastructure projects, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
  • Create detailed structural models and drawings using AutoCAD or Revit software.
  • Analyze loads and pressures caused by environmental factors and human influences, and select appropriate materials for construction.
  • Supervise on-site construction processes, ensuring that designs are implemented correctly and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida is required.
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant structural engineering experience, with a focus on bridge design.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other structural design software.
  • Expertise in construction methods and local building codes and regulations.
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills for structural calculations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
