Job Description
We seek an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to manage all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, conducting discovery. Responsibilities include representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings, conducting legal research and analysis, negotiating settlements, maintaining a thorough understanding of state and federal laws, collaborating with other attorneys, maintaining regular communication with clients, developing professional relationships, and participating in continuing legal education.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, admission to the state bar, proven experience in representing clients in court, excellent legal writing skills, strong legal research skills, negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, high ethical standards, ability to manage multiple cases, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, proficiency in legal research software, and technology.
