About the Role

Asplundh Engineering Services, LLC is seeking a skilled and self-motivated MicroStation/CAD Drafter to support utility engineers and project managers in drafting various electric transmission and distribution projects.

This position requires excellent communication skills, transparency, and reliability. We are looking for a candidate who is well-rounded, organized, and has a good attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft project plans using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, including as-builts, structure replacements, underground conversions, reconductors, and circuit rebuilds.
  • Maintain proper file management practices from creation to completion.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required (proficiency in MicroStation is a plus).
  • 2+ years of relevant drafting experience.
  • Prior utility/urban planning experience is preferred.
  • Must have reliable internet and workspace to work from home.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-player attitude.

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Experience with Bentley MicroStation and/or ProjectWise.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat, SAP, MS Office, Virtual Desktop, and various file sharing programs.
