Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate and precise drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
  • Incorporate architectural designs, specifications, and client preferences into drawings
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to understand project requirements
  • Communicate effectively with team members to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies
  • Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders and clients
  • Organize and maintain drawing files, project documentation, and related records
  • Prepare drawing sets, schedules, and documentation packages for internal review and client presentations
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Drafting, Architecture, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in residential design or architectural firms
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp
  • Knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compensation:

$25 - $32 an hour
