At Eichelberger Farms, we are seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Specialist to join our team.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum

About the Role

The primary objective of this role is to provide maintenance services to our sow farm buildings and equipment.

We require an individual who can communicate effectively with site managers to ensure all facilities operate at the highest level of efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair farm building equipment, including feed systems, fans, controllers, heating and cooling systems, and alarm systems.
  • Perform routine lubrication and repairs as necessary.
  • Occasionally perform welding tasks.
  • Comply with bio-security protocols, including shower in/out procedures, adherence to PRRS pyramid, maintaining a clean truck, utilization of fogger rooms, and proper shoe cover procedure between car and sow farm entry.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed.

Requirements

  • Basic reading and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment

  • Inside sow farms where it is loud and dusty.
  • Driving to different farms.
  • Outside sow farms in diverse climates.

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday.
  • Occasional weekends.
