Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain your designated station.
  • Prepare dishes according to established portion and presentation standards.
  • Alert the Sous Chef of anticipated shortages.
  • Ensure all work areas and equipment are clean and functioning properly.
  • Assist the Sous Chef in maintaining kitchen security and safety.
  • Exhibit a neat and professional appearance while adhering to personal hygiene standards.
  • Comply with state and local health and safety regulations.
  • Uphold the highest sanitary practices.
  • Support other tasks as assigned by the Sous Chef.

Requirements:

  • Reports to: Executive Chef; line cooks report directly to Sous Chefs.
  • Subject to overtime.
  • Physical Requirement: Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Must wear non-slip, oil-resistant footwear at all times.
  • Must possess a current Food Handlers Certification.
