Job Summary

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipe Foreman to join our team. As a Pipe Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising crews that install wet and dry utilities in a variety of settings, including water lines, storm drain and sanitary sewer lines, and dry conduits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of pipe laying crews to ensure efficient and safe installation of utilities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the dimensions and layout of utility installations.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to crew members and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Inspect work performed by subordinates to ensure conformance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control costs, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in pipe laying or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in pipe laying and operating heavy equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds or more and perform frequent cross-body movements.
