Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Abrazo West Campus. As a Per Diem RN PCU Nights, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Cardiac Stepdown unit, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Stepdown unit.
  • Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Act as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
  • May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervise other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
  • Preferred experience in acute care, with certification in specialty area of practice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • 1 year of acute care experience.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice.
