The Renton School District is seeking a seasoned leader to serve as the Executive Director of Employee and Labor Relations. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the organization's culture and ensuring a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies that align with the organization's goals and values.
- Labor Negotiations: Lead and manage complex labor negotiations to ensure fair and equitable outcomes for all parties involved.
- Dispute Resolution: Resolve employee grievances and conflicts through effective mediation and negotiation techniques.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of human resources professionals.
About the Role
This leader will champion the District's core values of service, excellence, and equity in all aspects of the work, with the mission of assuring that each student graduates with options and is prepared to participate in our democracy. The leader will report to the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources and partner with the executive leadership team to coordinate labor relations activities involving certificated, classified/support staff and non-represented units.
