As a key contributor, you will design and implement foundational software that is integral to various products and services.
We seek a detail-oriented engineer capable of producing high-quality code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to introduce innovative features and solutions.
Are you prepared to take on this challenge? About the Role: Apple is on the lookout for a Software Engineer specializing in software security technologies to spearhead the development and launch of new offerings.
Your work will span multiple facets of Apple’s product ecosystem, showcasing your robust software development and interpersonal skills as you integrate cutting-edge technology across diverse platforms and architectures.
We desire a candidate with a proven history in software development.You should possess familiarity with various architectures (x86/ARM, macOS/iOS, and others) and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with dynamic teams to deliver reliable and resilient code.
Experience with video streaming and security technologies (DRM, TrustZone, cryptography) will be highly advantageous.This is a remarkable opportunity to engage in pioneering projects from the ground up. Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient programming skills in C or C++.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong communication skills to articulate ideas and concerns clearly.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of operating system principles is a plus.
- Experience in embedded development, DRM, and ARM TrustZone is a plus.
At Apple, the base salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a specified range.
This structure allows for growth and advancement as you evolve within your role.The base salary range for this position is between $135,400 and $250,600, contingent upon your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.Employees may also be eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
